Melania Trump will give two or three speeches in the final days of the U.S. presidential race, Donald Trump said in a television interview, apparently surprising his wife.
In a taped ABC interview broadcast on Thursday, Melania was asked if she was going to campaign for her husband in the homestretch.
She said "we'll see," to which Donald indicated that time is now.
Melania has stayed mostly out of the public eye since the Republican National Convention in July, when she gave a speech that borrowed portions of first lady Michelle Obama's address to the 2008 Democratic convention.
She is an amazing public speaker.
She's agreed to do two or three speeches, and I think it's going to be big speeches, important speeches.
