Rhode Island's Throwing Muses were leading alt-rock heroes up until many perceived them to have broken up a decade ago. As the band correct us in an interview here, this was only a clever way to get out of an unpleasant record contract, something they've only just recoverd from. As well as catching up with the band out by the sea in Barcelona, our cameras also caught an all too rare set at the fantastic cult-rock haven that is Primavera festival. Here we witness a performance that marked a returning band at their liberated best, playing for the fun of playing, rather than under the strains of record company commitment.
