Could the Triple Triple Burger at Wayback Burgers really have 5000 calories? That's what the internet claims. No matter! I was there to conquer another food challenge on my bucket list. The elusive Triple Triple boasted 9 patties, 9 slices of cheese, lettuce and tomato. It clocked in at just over 2 pounds of hot and juicy steakburger. Finishing the $20 burger would score me a shirt and enter me into the national eating contest. Whoever eats the Triple Triple the fastest on National Cheeseburger day scores $3330.
