The seasoned Democrat won by a landslide, garnering 52% of the vote to Donald Trump’s 35%.
Some opted for neither, with 13% choosing to write in other picks.
Gary Johnson emerged with 2% support and Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein received 1% each.
Spider-Man, Kanye West, and bacon were also represented.
According to Scholastic News, "Since 1940, the results of the student vote have usually mirrored the outcome of the presidential election. In fact, Scholastic readers have been wrong only twice."
