Two more women came forward on Friday with allegations that Donald Trump had groped them. They included a contestant on his reality show, “The Apprentice”.
Summer Zervos who competed on the programme ten years ago, gave a news conference alleging that the presidential hopeful made sexual advances on her when she met him in 2007 to discuss a possible job.
Zervos claims that Trump tried to get her to lie down on a bed with him. “He then asked me to sit next to him. I complied. He then grabbed my shoulder and began kissing me again very aggressively and placed his hand on my breast,” she added.
The woman’s lawyer Gloria Allred she appeared alongside her client in Los Angeles.
“Unfortunately, because of what she alleges that Mr Trump did to her behind closed doors, she is now deeply disappointed in him and feels hurt, betrayed and embarrassed by the way that he treated her,” Allred said.
Separately the Washington Post published an interview with a woman who said Trump – who she claims she had never even met – put his hand up her skirt in a New York nightclub.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to requests for a comment on the new allegations.
But at a campaign rally in North Carolina on Friday afternoon, Trump angrily denounced the allegations that have been made about him by a series of women in recent days.
“Right now I am being viciously attacked with lies and smears. It’s a phoney deal. I have no idea who these women are. I have no idea. I have no idea, and I think you all know I have no idea because you understand me for a lot of years,” he told his supporters.
Donald Trump’s campaign has been on the back foot since last weekend’s release of a 2005 video in which he bragged about groping women and making unwanted advances.
Several women have since come forward alleging sexual misconduct.
