The Shiv Niwas Palace was built in the early 20th century by the then monarch Maharana Fateh Singh. The palace that once played host to royal guests of the House of Mewar has now been converted to a luxurious hotel with modern 21st century amenities. Each room is decorated in a different style with unique colour codes. The four-poster beds and the lake view balconies make for a perfect quiet holiday spot. This is one of the properties in The City Palace Complex flanked by Lake Pichola on the rear side.
