Footage of Belgian tennis player Maxime Braeckman taking part in a world record attempt to play 40 tennis matches in a row.

The video, filmed in Antwerp at the weekend, shows Maxime breaking the world record by completing the singles matches in one day, 43 minutes and eight seconds.

"The previous record was 36 games," the filmer wrote online.

"Maxime played 40 different opponents on a pop-up court in Antwerp, Belgium."

"It was a real test of endurance who could rest only five minutes every hour," he continued.
