As I said - I half heartedly hoped for Brexit because I wanted a different country to roll those dice, and because my country will benefit from UK in particular having less access and not being present when the regulations are re written, and this market re organized (Bangladesh and Turkey taking over more and more of cheap manufacturing, so those regulations and tariffs will be adjusted accordingly. But without input from UK on EU market, so UK will not be able to favour own companies (although this could've still been good for us if they counterbalanced Germany - so again, this is very much hypothetical. I'm just happy someone else is biting that bullet).

I'd say the gift that got the most thought was an ornament I got for my sister. She collects Christmas ornaments that stand out (not the plastic balls that everyone has several boxes of).
