Flash-flooding as a result of heavy rain caused dangerous conditions for some Florida residents Saturday (October 2) night.

Emergency crews had to rescue several stranded drivers who were stuck in high waters in Orlando.

"All of a sudden my car completely froze up on me and turned off. As I was finally rescued from my car, the water came up to my seats where I could not even put my feet on the ground. It was all the way up to my seats destroying everything in my car," said Brianna Williams who was stranded before she was helped to safety.

Authorities had to block off several roads until the floodwater receded.

There were no reports of injuries.
