Every year on Makar Sankranti kite lovers make fly their kites in the sky and make it a war zone in the sky, but Vinod Kumar of Varanasi has made a special kite of 6 feet height, which can win all the kites war. He makes this special kite himself. Makar Sankranti is a day dedicated to Lord Sun and devotees mark this day by taking a holy dip in river Ganges. According to the Hindu calendar, Makar Sankranti is also celebrated as the harvest festival and marks the arrival of spring. The day is synonymous to kite flying too. People across India are seen on their rooftops and sky fills up with colorful kites. This festival is a symbolism for being together in peace and joyfulness, despite the uniqueness and differences among people.
