A huge block of red sandstone slab, part of the eaves of Saheli Burj on the eastern gate of Taj Mahal, came crashing down on the tourist's queue shelter located below on early Wednesday morning. The chunk of the building that collapsed weighed around 40kg, bringing the issue of conservation of historical buildings into sharp focus.
