On Monday night, Donald Trump danced around Hillary Clinton’s assertion that he tormented Alicia Machado, a winner of the Miss Universe pageant in 1996, making a number of hurtful and insulting comments about her weight gain.
However, on Tuesday morning he spoke with Fox and Friends, spouting more disrespectful words about her.
Trump said, “…she was the worst we ever had. The worst, the absolute worst. She was impossible, and she was a Miss Universe contestant and ultimately a winner who they had a tremendously difficult time with as Miss Universe.”
He continued, “She was the winner, and, you know, she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem. We had a real problem.”
Machado, who is from Venezuela, has since become a U.S. citizen and has announced her intention to vote for Clinton in November, notes USA Today.
