Obviously folks, I’m old. I may not ever get a chance to do this again. Do it before it’s too late!
My name is Laine broder and I am from Chicago. I am Jayesh Patel and I am from Zimbabwe, Hi I’m Mary Allison, My name is Nick and I’m from Philly, Rod and Cameron LiViste. My name is David, and I just completed my first ever float of the grand canyon. I’m so amazed at how amazing this trip was! It’s been a wonderful experience, I’ve met some great people. The rafting, you get wet everyday. When I was asked to come on this trip, I was not so sure I wanted to sleep outside, and I really had no idea what to expect. This is probably the best trip i’ve ever been on. The boatmen who operate the rafts are extremely careful with their clients. They made us feel really safe. The scenery is just incredible. You might think that the pictures are fake a little, they’re not. I have never been this relaxed, I have never been in this great of a place. Such majestic scenery, feeling really calm and relaxed, really enjoying myself. It is a very kid friendly atmosphere. What was your favorite part? I liked the part where we went through the rapids! Which one? All of them! The rapids, although they’re big and you get splashed, they’re just an absolute joy! I’ve made some good friends here. The friendships, the hiking, the rafting! Camping, even with a bunch of people you don’t know, you get to know them soon and everybody’s out here having a wonderful time. You go to sleep looking at the stars, which i’ve never seen so many stars in my life. The guides were very very knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. I am going to the bathroom, outside in the middle of nowhere. And it was actually exhilarating, I can’t even explain it. This was just an incredibly well done trip. The outfitter was great, just absolutely amazing. This is something that anybody can do. You can be old and sort of fit like I am, or you can be not used to camping or hiking, and it would be just fine. There really is no reason for people who even don’t do very many wilderness trip trips, there’s no reason for you not to participate in a float down the Grand Canyon. It is completely worth it. It’s something I think you have to experience, at least one time in your life. It’s just one of those trip of a lifetime that you have to check off your bucket list. Do it Now, Do it now before it’s too late. Come to the Grand Canyon!
