Dawn Neufeld covers The 3rd Annual Silver Dollar Ball, a North Texas benefit for the American Cancer Society.
Over 700 guests will be at the XO Ranch in Aubrey, Texas for barbecue, midway fun, silent and live auctions and a concert with country star Mark Chesnutt.
Silver Dollar Ball guests will be able to participate in the "Circle of Horseshoes" in honor of loved ones who have battled cancer. The authentic horseshoes will feature a plaque displaying the honoree's name, which will be displayed at the ball and then goes home with the purchaser after the event.
