LOS ANGELES — French actress Marion Cotillard has been hounded by the press since rumors surfaced that she was behind the earth-shattering breakup of Brangelina.
TMZ reports that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 20. The two were together for more than a decade and have six children together, three of whom are adopted.
Despite reports that the split had nothing to do with a third party, rumors surfaced that Pitt was having an affair with married co-star Marion Cotillard. Fans of the Hollywood power couple were incensed.
On Wednesday night, the French actress took to Instagram to give her first and only official statement on the allegations. In a lengthy post, Cotillard denied having an affair with Pitt, claiming that she is perfectly happy with her longtime partner, French actor-director Guillaume Canet. Cotillard then announced that she and Canet are expecting their second child.
