Trump and Clinton race tightens

The latest New York Times/CBS News poll finds Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton in a tight race for votes.
National polling averages show that Clinton’s margin over Trump has narrowed from eight points in early August to two points today.
Clinton is doing better among women, nonwhites and younger voters, while Trump leads among whites, 51 to 40 percent.
Among white women, the candidates are virtually tied: 46 percent for Clinton and 45 percent for Trump.
