Rupnagar (Punjab), Sep 15 (ANI): Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated a new road project in Punjab’s Rupnagar distrcit. Gadkari said Punjab was being accorded top priority by the NDA government in allotment of major infrastructure development projects. Road projects worth Rs 30,000 crore were already in progress in Punjab and in the next three years, the figure would reach Rs 1,50,000 crore. He also announced the Ludhiana-Hambran Road as a national highway.
