PENZA, RUSSIA — A pair of Russian teenagers doused each other in flammable liquid and lit themselves on fire before jumping off a bridge in a video which has since gone viral.

The footage appears to have been shot in the city of Penza in southwestern Russia, the Sun reported.

The first video starts with one of the teens wearing a coat as his friend squirts some type of flammable liquid all over his back. The friend then lights the teen on fire as he jumps off the 20-foot bridge down into the river below.

In a second clip, both teens are seen standing on the edge of the bridge as they are both set ablaze at the same time. The two then jump off the bridge together.

They come up from the water and start to swim towards the bank, apparently unharmed.

It looks like the reason the teens tried the dangerous stunt was to get likes on social media, according to the Sun.

Police are investigating and have reportedly arrested one of the teens.
