In this video, I will show you how to make a purse out of a milk carton! This video is a preview. Please see the full version on my YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/NCA2Yzo9724
This was inspired by the Olympia LeTan Milk Carton Embroidered Shoulder Bag http://www.olympialetan.com
Her handbags are truly amazing and I wish that I could afford to buy one myself!
If you want to make it more OLT-ish, you can embroider a design on your fabric before gluing it to the box.
Supplies:
500 ml milk carton, washed and dried.
Old white tshirt
White paper
Tape (I used double sided tape to attach the paper and packing tape to insert the cord)
Paintbrush
Toothpick
Push pin
Awl or compass to make the hole
Glue (I am using Elmer's glue)
Glue Gun
Cord or string
Felt (black, pink or blue, and white)
Blush
Scissors
Disappearing ink pen
Velcro or 1 cm wide magnet tape (I tried using both, but the velcro works best!)
Next up is a cookie coin purse to accompany your kawaii milk box purse!
