September 8, 2016 – Darren Seals, one of the activists who led protests in response to the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., was found dead with a gunshot wound inside a burned-out car in nearby Riverview early Tuesday morning, the St. Louis County Police Department said.
First he heard a noise what could have been a gun shot. And what he thought was a trying to steal the car. The man then got out of the car and described as having white socks on his hands and dreads. He thought when they came back they were just going to steal the rims on the car.
The witness said he first say a short black man exit the car with the white socks on his hands, then a white boy came from the woods to the car just before it burst into flames.
