Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his thoughts on the Democratic National Committee’s security breach which resulted in internal emails being made public by WikiLeaks, notes Time. 
During a recent interview with Bloomberg, he disavowed any involvement in the hack, saying, “I don’t know anything about it, and on a state level Russia has never done this.” 
However, he noted that “the important thing is the content that was given to the public.” 
Overall, Putin dismissed the effort to identify the perpetrator, at one point calling the pursuit “some minor issues.” 
In response to his comments, the Clinton campaign repeated their suspicions of “potential collusion between Trump campaign associates and the Kremlin.”
