In a press release, the company notes, “In many parts of the world, finding skilled labor during peak use seasons is a constant challenge for our customers.”
Case IH also anticipates the concept vehicle will allow for, “…greater operational efficiencies.” 
The concept tractor can be preprogrammed and monitored remotely. 
It is also designed to assess and implement the most efficient work route. 
The concept vehicle was presented at the Farm Progress Show held in Boone, Iowa "to validate the technology and to collect customer feedback regarding their interest and need for future autonomous products for their operations."
