SYDNEY — Two dope Canadian women on a dream cruise around the world are now looking at life in prison in Australia after authorities found they were attempting to smuggle over $22 million worth of cocaine.

Quebecers Melina Roberge, 22, Isabelle Lagacé, 28, and André Tamine, 63, appeared in court on Monday and were charged with trying to smuggle 200 pounds of cocaine into the country, according to a report by the Sun.

The trio were on a luxury cruise aboard the MS Sea Princess, operated by Princess Cruises. The $12,600, 68-day cruise began in London and stopped in the U.S.,South America and New Zealand before finishing in Australia, according to the Sun.

Roberge and Lagacé had been documenting their trip over Instagram.

Unfortunately for them, on day 51 of their trip, they were met by Australian Federal Police in Sydney, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Authorities in Australia said they three were allegedly working with a “very well organized syndicate.”

The Australian authorities had been working with counterparts in the U.S., Canada and New Zealand, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

A search of the ship’s nearly 2,000 compartments led to the discovery of the cocaine in the trio’s suitcases, according to the Toronto Star.

Authorities are now trying to determine at which port the narcotics were brought on board.

The three did not enter pleas when they appeared in the Sydney Central Local Court, according to the Sun. They are all looking at life sentences if convicted.

They are next scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 26.
