Tearing Apart Bathroom Tile

2016-08-31 31

We recently completed a full, top to bottom, bathroom demolition. One of the steps was of course to remove the tile covering the floor and walls. This was done by using a variety of handheld tools to tear off each piece. We'll use different equipment based on how the tiles were originally laid, and at what angle they sit. A hammer or mallet can break up the majority of the floor, while crowbars are better suited for walls and tight corners. Once everything was all torn down we collect the pieces and remove them from the demo site. The bathroom floor and walls were then stripped of any remaining grout or other adhesive leaving a clean slate for future developments.
