Nepal Prime Minister inducts 13 more ministers in his cabinet

Nepal, Aug 26 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday added 13 new ministers from Nepali Congress (NC) to expand the cabinet for the fourth time. There are 31 members in the council of ministers after the new appointments. The newly appointed ministers from Nepali Congress are Sita Devi Yadav, Arjun Narsingh KC, Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Bal Krishna Khand, Suryaman Gurung, Keshab Kumar Budhathoki, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Hridayaram Thani, Deepak Giri, Gagan Thapa, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, Shankhar Bhandari and Romi Gauchan. Sita Devi Yadav, who is the treasurer of NC, has been handed over the responsibility of the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction while Arjun Narsingh KC, who earlier refused to join the government after not getting the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been given the Ministry of Urban Development. Among the 31-member council of ministers, Peace and Reconstruction Minister Sitadevi Yadav is the only female member. Radhika Tamang and Dhana Maya BK of CPN (Maoist Center) are state ministers.
