Assange says WikiLeaks to release 'significant' Clinton campaign data

WikiLeaks founder and editor-in-chief Julian Assange said on Wednesday his organization planned to release "significant" information linked to the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton before the Nov. 8 election.
In July, WikiLeaks released thousands of emails reportedly hacked from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) which resulted in a number of high-profile resignations including the group's chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Assange, who was speaking from an undisclosed location as he still faces extradition to Sweden for alleged sexual assaults in 2010, wouldn't be drawn on exactly when the information would be released.
