-This Ep was really good---until the ending which has got to be more rushed than the entire runtime of S3's final-
OK I rewatch the Ep twice today, by the let watchers Applegeek and Luffyiscool. The Ep is STILL good and Spike's song was amazing! However, my complaint still stands as normal. The moment where Spike didn't fend Thorax was when the Ep went downhill as it was 100% pointless.
Shining's line "sorry we didn't take the time to get to know you" is the worse spoken line in the entire series, why? Because of his pure anger shown earlier was 100% 180-ed on a dime. If you say "this is a kids' show/they had a 20 time limit" then you don't understand why this is bad writing.
We might get a case of Starlight again in where yeah it was rushed here, but later it was brought back and expanded upon. Let's hope so, maybe we'll see the Crystal Ponies are still afraid when we return to the empire?
Applegeek gave this Ep a 10 out of 10, Luffyiscool gave it 4 stars. I'm in the middle, but this ending (starting from Spike not defending Thorax) in my books, is a complete and utter failure and there is no excuse. I heard these were new writers, suppose they just took on a bigger Ep than they should had started with. Again its just the ending I hate, the other 99% is right up there.
