It especially adds value to the Hospital stay of those paediatric patients who cannot afford regular school education. It is noteworthy that the first batch of graduating students comprised of ten paediatric patients whereas this year there were twenty-seven graduates. Dr. Rabia Wali, Consultant Paediatric Oncologist and Dr. Aasim Yusuf, the Chief Medical Officer of the Hospital, were invited to the stage to award the graduates. The graduates looked proud and beautiful dressed in traditional graduation gowns and caps. With an uplifting tune playing in the background, the graduates were brought towards the stage amidst roaring applause. They were presented certificates to acknowledge their achievement, badges to award their effort, and school bags filled with educational presents to encourage them to continue their academic endeavours in the future.
