This week DVB Debate discusses modern slavery.
Burma is well known for its use of forced labour. Under military rule, the army routinely forced civilians to work on state projects; building roads, military bases or even towns. And this problem continues today. Last year's Global slavery index reported that there 384,000 Burmese people are living in slavery.
