FIFA has fired Secretary General Jerome Valcke for the second time – he was previously suspended for investigation going on regarding a bribery scandal. FIFA has recommended a 9-year band for him from the sport. He was under suspicion for involvement in a scheme to profit from the sale of World Cup tickets. There have also been accusations regarding his expenses, personal conduct and private jet use. He has been charged with accepting gifts, breaches of confidentiality and loyalty, conflicts of interest and failure to cooperate with investigators.
