After a years-long legal battle, Kesha dropped her remaining abuse charges against Dr. Luke in a New York court. The singer plans to continue to focus on the “professional grievances” she has against the producer regarding her contract with Sony Music’s Records. From beginning Dr Luke denied the sexual assault and harassment claims Kesha made against him both in New York and California. but the similar case filed at New York will remain in play. She then filed her California lawsuit, claiming he drugged and sexually abused her as early as 2005. Dr Luke has produced pop hits for stars including Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson and Nicki Minaj and has never been charged with any crime before. Kesha’s career has been in limbo since she first sued Dr Luke in October 2014 and therefore she decided to take this step.
