On Monday just before 9:30 p.m., Martin County, Florida deputies responded to a call regarding violence at a home and discovered a particularly gruesome homicide scene. A 19-year-old suspected murderer was in the driveway, bending over a male victim and biting off chunks of his face.

A 19-year-old suspected murderer was in the driveway, bending over a male victim and biting off chunks of his face, reports WPEC.
According to the Associated Press, authorities first attempted to stop the individual with a stun gun, but he was undeterred.
Sending a K-9 in to stop the savagery was similarly ineffective.
Eventually, law enforcement personnel were able to pry the suspect off and contain him.
A search of the property revealed the victim’s wife had been slain as well.
The suspect was taken to an area hospital, where he was said to be making "animal-like sounds."
According to the Miami Herald, "The initial drug screen showed no evidence of the usual drugs, like cocaine and heroin, but the tests for more unique synthetic drugs are still out."
