New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): The Airports Authority of India (AAI) celebrated the 70th Independence Day in New Delhi with great fervour and gusto. Flag hoisting ceremony was held along with cultural programmes in which students of Kendriya Vidhalaya, which is under the AAI management, gave mesmerizing performances on patriotic theme and enthralled the audience. AAI Chairman Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra addressed the members and conveyed the message of working with excellence and dedication and to contribute for country’s growth. In a separate event, a flag hoisting ceremony and prize distribution for children in art & dance was also organised by the Resident welfare association of the airport body. Chairman and Member (HR) of the AAI also planted a tree sapling as a good gesture towards environment. The national flag was also unfurled at all the 125 airports across the country.
