Barmer (Rajasthan), Aug 13 (ANI): A private school in Rajasthan has reportedly barred students from singing 'Vande Mataram' on the grounds that it is un-Islamic and asked them to recite the Quran. Despite Hindu students also studying in the school, the administration has taken the decion to teach about Islam along with general subjects. When contacted, a school in-charge said that Islam does not permit worshipping the land one lives in, therefore it has been prohibited in the school premises also.
