I had intended to make fun of Julie Bindel's rant about how marriage is inherently anti-feminist but she convinced me! I agree that marriage is inherently opposed to feminism, which is why feminism is bad. One unmarriageable lesbian feminazi's modus ponens is another highly eligible bachelor's modus tollens.
Here is Julie Bindel's modus ponens argument:
Premise 1. Feminism and marriage are moral opposites.
Premise 2. Feminism is good.
Conclusion: Marriage is bad.
Here is my modus tollens argument:
Premise 1. Feminism and marriage are moral opposites.
Premise 2. Marriage is good.
Conclusion: Feminism is bad.
By the way, I'm currently reading "Men and Marriage" by George Gilder. I haven't finished it yet, but it pretty much says the same stuff I always say.
