Pokemon Go has seen its popularity dwindle since its launch and part of the reason is due to a recent fix. Over the weekend, Niantic "fixed" a bug that caused the in-game tracker, which gives users an idea of how close they're to a Pokemon, by eliminating any way to judge the distance a player was from any given Pokémon. Players didn't find the fix particularly helpful and what became more bothersome for them is Niantic's reluctance to adhere to feedback. Even worse for players, Niantic shut down third-party websites that had sprung up to show players where Pokémon were appearing.
