Nepal, Aug 02 (ANI): Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday officially registered his candidacy for the post of Nepal Prime Minister. The new Prime Minister is likely to be elected by the House through a majority vote on Wednesday. Dahal's name was reportedly proposed by Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. In total, 11 political parties have backed Dahal's candidature. The post has been lying vacant since the former prime minister K P Sharma Oli resigned on July 24.
