The owner of Howl At The Moon pub on Queensland’s glitter strip on the Gold Coast saw the funny side after a bumbling thief attempted to break into his establishment on July 28.
Mario Zulli shared CCTV footage of a man throwing an empty beer keg into a glass door, before smashing through.
The man is seen to poke his head and body through the broken glass, while holding a lit cigarette in his mouth and reaching for a door handle.
He then falls to the ground.
“We were broken into at 3.30am this morning, if that’s what you would call it,” Zulli wrote.
