BEIJING — Two women at a wildlife park in China were mauled by tigers. One woman was killed and another was injured after they left their car.

CCTV footage shows one woman getting out of the car and standing beside the vehicle before being attacked and dragged away by a tiger.

A man, who was in the car, then gets out and tries to help. It’s unclear if he was injured.

The second woman was mauled and killed by another tiger after she jumped out to try and help, according to BBC.

Chinese media reports say an argument in the car caused the first woman to get out.

Park officials arrived quickly on scene, but they were unable to save one of the women.

Badaling Wildlife World in Beijing is known for rearing large groups of dangerous animals that roam wide open areas which visitors can drive their own cars through. Visitors are told to keep their doors locked and windows fully closed while in the park.

According to BBC, the Yanqing district government said the woman who survived was receiving medical treatment.
