A Chicago train station was severely damaged as powerful lightning storms rolled through the city on Sunday, July 24. Parts of a canopy of the Illinois Medical District station collapsed and train service along the Blue, Red and Brown lines was halted, according to the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Transit Authority.
