There's a special connection between humans and their machines. For some, it's their antique hot rod, others, a tractor, but for many in the French Navy, the Super Étendard strike fighter jet is their BFF.
But now, the Étendard is retiring after more than 40 years as a Navy workhorse and the generations of French military who flew and fixed her are saying goodbye in a moving tribute you can't miss.
