U.S. Coast Guard on Monday (July 18) rescued a 74-year-old man 380 miles southwest of St. Petersburg, Florida after he fell ill on a cruise ship, it said.
The U.S. Defense Department released a video showing a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Clearwater lifting the man who had a medical condition from the ship into helicopter.
The passenger was found unconscious on the Carnival Breeze cruise ship and revived by the ship crew before the Coast Guard helicopter arrival, Coast Guard News said.
The man was transported to Tampa General Hospital in stable condition, Coast Guard said.
