The Centers for Disease Control published a study back in 2013 that said the age at which a child ate solid foods was linked to an increased risk in childhood obesity, with children who ate solid food earlier in life more likely to become obese. But on Wednesday, the CDC released a new study that shows there is actually no link between the age at which a child first eats solid food and their risk of obesity. This second study followed children up to age 6, and said that there was no link between the two factors.
