Muzaffarabad (PoK), July 07 (ANI): These pictures reflect the brutal face of police in Muzaffarabad, as they thrashed medical students outside the Muzaffarabad Medical College in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). They used sticks and gun butts against final year students who were protesting against the college authorities for not issuing their degrees on time. Later, the students disclosed at a press conference that police had not even spared female students. Showing their anger against the police and authorities in PoK, the students gathered outside the Muzaffarabad Press Club and shouted slogans. They were supported by lawyers and other social activists of the region and have seriously condemned the brutal attack on medical students by the police. Students in PoK have been facing problems because of Islamabad's deliberate policies in not allowing Kashmiri students to shine on the professional front. The region also lacks educational institutions and is being seen as a deliberate attempt not to give jobs to the youth. This has forced the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmiri to raise their voices against the discriminatory policies of Islamabad.
