The good thing about Grid is its customizable difficulty levels and driving assist options. If you start to find that races are no longer challenging enough for you, you can turn off all or selected driving aids such as ABS, TCS, Stability control, assisted cornering etc. and set a difficulty level that challenges your driving ability more fully. You may not always win, but you will certainly get more out of the game if you have to fight for results :-)
