Kathmandu, July 05 (ANI): The first meeting of the Nepal-India Eminent Persons Group (EPG), which aims to review bilateral relations, began in Kathmandu. Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa inaugurated the two-day meet, which was followed by closed-door discussions among its eight members - four members each from Nepal and India. Thapa stressed on the need to review treaties and agreements signed between the two countries. The Nepali EPG members include former foreign minister Bhekh Bahadur Thapa, former chief commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Surya Nath Upadhyay, former law minister Nilamber Acharya and lawmaker Dr Rajan Bhattarai.
