A two-metre shark pulled a line from a group of fishermen after performing an acrobatic back flip out of the water on June 30. Jake Beazley said he was with his three friends fishing 12 kilometres off Point Peron, Western Australia, when one of their bait fish was taken by the shark.
The Mako shark – a member of the Isurus family – hung around their boat, said Beazley, and while the group were reeling in their baits, it took hold of one of their lines and did a backflip, snapping it. Credit: Facebook/Jake Beazley
