Nepal, July 01 (ANI): A 61-year-old man was admitted to a hospital after he suffered a brain stroke during a relay hunger strike protest in Nepal's capital Kathmandu. The man, identified as Baburam Bhusal, who was representing Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal, fell down while he was sitting for the protest. Bhusal was immediately rushed to a hospital where doctors said he suffered a brain hemorrhage. Madhesi Morcha, a 29 party alliance, is on relay hunger strike for last 25 days in Kathmandu demanding change in demarcation of the provinces. The dialogue between the protesters and the government has failed to reach any consensus. The demonstration, which is now centered in Kathmandu, is aimed to pressurize the government to address demands of the dissatisfied groups. The eight-month long unrest and protest in southern plains of Nepal that begin last year claimed more than 50 lives.
