Footage of volunteers handing out 'iftar packages' to fasting taxi drivers in Dubai, UAE on Thursday evening.

During Ramadan most muslims in the UAE fast (no food or water) from dawn until dusk, when they break their fast with an iftar meal.

The majority of taxi drivers in Dubai are muslim, and they continue to work very long day shifts while fasting.

A number of volunteer groups and charities - like this one - have been set up to help those working and fasting.

This video was captured on Marsa Street in Dubai Marina at 7:05pm on Thursday 30th June, by a local resident

The volunteers can be seen handing out packages containing dates, snacks and water to taxi drivers waiting at a set of traffic lights.
