On Tuesday, authorities with the Miami-Dade Police Narcotics Bureau found approximately $24 million in cash at the Miami Lakes home of a suspected drug trafficker, notes WPLG.
Miami Herald is reporting that the money was stuffed into bright orange Home Depot buckets and hidden in a secret compartment.
Investigators also discovered an automatic weapon and steroids on the premises.
The homeowner, Luis Hernandez-Gonzalez, owns and runs a gardening store in the area, according to WFOR.
Called Blossom Experience, the shop sells equipment such as lights and fans for cultivating indoor plants.
A search of that establishment, which occurred just before the home raid, turned up marijuana, marijuana seeds, and $180,000, also in cash.
Hernandez-Gonzalez has been charged with multiple offenses.
